Project Description

Communications

With communication, farmers in the region can coordinate sales, resulting in higher outcomes.

Appearance and In-Game Effects

When the communications project is built, an antenna will appear on the roof of the farmer family’s hut. The antenna graphic can be clicked, which shows the following information box about the project.

Communications mean that the local farmers can exchange knowledge of market prices and demands. As a result, you earn a little extra on all crops harvested.

In terms of game mechanics, this means a roughly 10% higher yield on all the standard crops harvested by the player. This includes corn, wheat, cotton, and peanuts, but not poppies, which are only available in special cases where the harvest is sold back directly to the provider.

Additional Info

This is one of the six projects that the player is required to complete in order to win the game.
